There are different benefits of going on a Summer or Winter safari. In Summer you get to witness the baby boom, as that is when the impalas and other general game drop their babies.
What should you wear on safari?
You want to neutral-coloured clothes, especially on a big game walk. Sun protection is also very important, make sure to pack sunglasses and sunscreen. It can get quite cold while out on safari, so wearing layers and having a lightweight warm jacket on hand is a good idea.
Safety tips when on safari?
It is important to remain cool, calm and collected. Listen to your game ranger, if your ranger asks you to sit down or remain still, do so. Don’t whistle or clap to get the animals attention, not only does this put you in danger but you want to observe them in their natural state before you move on to the next sighting.
